Open-Concept Layout
Removing visual barriers unified the sleeping and living areas, making the small footprint feel spacious.
LePlatts Pond — Bayfield, CO
LePlatts Pond presented a unique design challenge: transform a compact, outdated loft into a dreamy bridal suite. The goal was to create a space that felt both romantic and functional — a 'doll house' retreat with personality and purpose.
We embraced a shabby chic aesthetic, balancing soft textures and antique touches with smart space planning. An open-concept layout brings together living, dining, and sleeping areas, making the loft feel cozy, connected, and effortlessly special.
This compact loft space was completely reimagined to serve as both a cozy sleeping area and a stylish living room. By removing visual barriers and opening up the layout, we created a multifunctional retreat that feels light, airy, and intentionally designed.

The original farmhouse sink was recast and refinished, preserving the loft's vintage character.
Soft textures, layered fabrics, and antique touches create a romantic bridal suite atmosphere.
Small-scale appliances integrated seamlessly into the mini kitchen without sacrificing functionality.
Custom furniture placement, layered textures, and clever use of square footage turned a once-cramped space into a warm and welcoming bridal suite. Whether relaxing after the ceremony or getting ready with the wedding party, the living-sleeping area now offers both comfort and charm in a beautifully unified design.
